Aug 31: ?We had another line break with Blina and turned out the port got infected with E. coli and Salmonella.? After weeks of antibiotics and other treatments his port was removed and recovered fully. One afternoon, we asked if we could go to the courtyard to get some sun and see some family. After a week, they put in his third port.

Amidst the Covid pandemic, Matthew and Alanna decided to cancel their wedding but still get married at our uncle’s church in Lake Butler. Chris took photos and got drone video! It was a beautiful day and wonderful ceremony! Can’t wait for the celebration to be held later in the year.

Coming a week early, baby Parker was born Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 7:25pm. He was 7lbs 10oz and 20″ long. It was similar to our first kid in many ways, but we are glad (even with all the COVID-19 precautions) it was a smooth birth.

Over the last couple weeks the viral pandemic has exploded! In the middle of Reid’s tough chemo, we had already been protecting him from infections. But now the rest of the world is dealing with similar precautions; staying home away from each other, cleaning and disinfecting anything that has been touched. Hopefully, it ends in a few months and we’ll see what lasting effects this will have on our society…

Thanks to our good friend Griff and Jess! They got us accommodations to a nice hotel and boat tour that was nice and easy going. We went downtown for food and remembered the day when we had Taz with us and when she barked at a horse. We sat by the gas fires they had at the hotel and enjoyed the night.
