After weeks of antibiotics and other treatments his port was removed and recovered fully. One afternoon, we asked if we could go to the courtyard to get some sun and see some family. Over the last couple weeks the viral pandemic has exploded! In the middle of Reid’s tough chemo, we had already been protecting him from infections. But now the rest of the world is dealing with similar precautions; staying home away from each other, cleaning and disinfecting anything that has been touched. Hopefully, it ends in a few months and we’ll see what lasting effects this will have on our society…
