We found out Taz had spleen cancer and fluid had built up in her abdomen. She has been really tired the last few days and we decided to put her to rest in our backyard. It was a really sad day for our family.

Taz goes to the Emergency Vet
After taking a walk, Kat stopped by Chris and Donna’s house for lunch. Taz fetched a stick and got it jammed in her throat. She had a good bit of blood and was cowering but a couple minutes later she was running around normally. After a few hours, she was having a hard time breathing, wasn’t drinking, and wouldn’t want to get up. We brought her to the emergency vet at UF and they found holes in the back of her throat. They sewed them up and kept her overnight. Taz did well and is on a soft food diet for a couple weeks but otherwise is doing fine.
