We visited the Wilsons in the Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park where they parked their camper for the extended weekend. We also made them a camper warming gift and went to Ember’s Grill!

Gold Head State Park Camping
Our second camping experience was an hour from Gainesville at Gold Head State Park. We stayed one night and had to bring our own firewood.
Camping Morrow Mountain North Carolina
We camped for two nights at Morrow Mountain State Park in North Carolina and hiked the Fall Mountain Trail. We then picked up Mom and Grandma Sunday morning from Virginia (Mike’s Aunts house) to bring them home. We had to strap our camping gear in a roof bag on the top of the car to make room for everything!
