Continue reading Kayaking Down the Santa Fe RiverAfter taking a walk, Kat stopped by Chris and Donna’s house for lunch. Taz fetched a stick and got it jammed in her throat. She had a good bit of blood and was cowering but a couple minutes later she was running around normally. After a few hours, she was having a hard time breathing, wasn’t drinking, and wouldn’t want to get up. We brought her to the emergency vet at UF and they found holes in the back of her throat. They sewed them up and kept her overnight. Taz did well and is on a soft food diet for a couple weeks but otherwise is doing fine.
Everything went well at the doctor. The due date is still set for Sept 14th and we’re so excited!
We had a relaxing day and went out to Ember’s with our friends for our traditional dinner.
